About me
I am a neuroscientist and currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Joshua Johansen at RIKEN Center for Brain Science, Japan. I completed my Ph.D. at the laboratory of Denis Pare at Rutgers University-Newark.
My Ph.D. work focused on the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST), a heterogeneous forebrain structure that forms reciprocal connections with the amygdala. Using rodent models and in vitro electrophysiology, I aim to shed light on the role BNST plays in the regulation of fear and anxiety.
